We are educated actors. It is important for us to disarm, use our sense of humour, show self irony, and convey our true selves, in order for us to inspire these traits in the people we train. We borrow our tools from the theatrical world, and relate them to the working and living situation of the individual.
Methodically this is about using the actor's life as a metaphor for the professional world.
The challenges facing an actor can for instance be compared to the challenges facing an average leader or salesperson.
The theatre company ergo;ego has specialized in sharing competence from the world of theatre with professionals in other fields. All of ergo;ego's actors are specifically trained to transfer tools and methods from the theatre stage to other professional contexts in a fun, instructive and effective way. Since 2000, we have given training to companies in a wide range of sectors; from telecommunication, oil and finance to IT, pharmaceutics and publishing. The health care sector, pharmacy chains, lawyers and engineers have all been trained and learnt under the direction of ergo;ego's actors. Over the last few years, ergo;ego has been on stage in 15 countries in Europe, USA and Asia.
